we use a command line to burn dvd (i.e. dvdburn, utility that comes with Microsoft's developer tool kit). we have moved to dual layer dvds and when running the script a UNKNOWN MEDIA TYPE message is displayed. is there an extra switch that i need to put in for dvdburn.cmd to support dual layer or do i need to find another way to burn through cmd line? i know anyone who reads this is probably saying "why not just use Alcohol or Nero, or somethig like that. but we need to accomplish burning a large iso (about 5.67 gig) to a dual layer dvd, through the command line or script.

I would think you have to update that M$ burning tool, dual layer is to new for them. Let me see what I can find on the net... Hmmm, can´t find any thing about dvdburn.cmd...

I think NERO has a function for that, for example DVDshrink also uses NEROs engine to burn DVDs...

But then I don´t know how to use it, I´m not a programmer :} .
