PaduanoJ Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 we use a command line to burn dvd (i.e. dvdburn, utility that comes with Microsoft's developer tool kit). we have moved to dual layer dvds and when running the script a UNKNOWN MEDIA TYPE message is displayed. is there an extra switch that i need to put in for dvdburn.cmd to support dual layer or do i need to find another way to burn through cmd line? i know anyone who reads this is probably saying "why not just use Alcohol or Nero, or somethig like that. but we need to accomplish burning a large iso (about 5.67 gig) to a dual layer dvd, through the command line or script.
puntoMX Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I would think you have to update that M$ burning tool, dual layer is to new for them. Let me see what I can find on the net... Hmmm, can´t find any thing about dvdburn.cmd...
PaduanoJ Posted February 10, 2005 Author Posted February 10, 2005 where would i find an updated versionof that tool? do you know of another tool that will accomplish this through the command line?
puntoMX Posted February 10, 2005 Posted February 10, 2005 I think NERO has a function for that, for example DVDshrink also uses NEROs engine to burn DVDs...But then I don´t know how to use it, I´m not a programmer .
PaduanoJ Posted February 10, 2005 Author Posted February 10, 2005 thanks for the help so far. ill check out NERO, but if you find anything else with this matter. that would be greatly appreciated.
