Hi spachtler,

I build an AutoIt installer from yr script above, compiled and run it... It give me error messages:

Error message 1:

Line 0 (File F:\XPCD_SP2\Software\DrDivx\DrDivX106_install.exe):

I copied bgregister.exe file from C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX\ to my unattended folder install (F:\XPCD_SP2\Software\DrDivx\)

Uninstall and Reboot, Run again the install

I copied Dr.DivX Registration.exe file from C:\Program Files\DivX\Dr.DivX\Dr.DivX Registration.exe to my unattended folder install (F:\XPCD_SP2\Software\DrDivx\)

Finally I got it!

After a lot search in our Gold mine MSFN and take inspiration from all what i red... here you go.

1) Install Dr.Divx 1.6 and register it normaly

2) Export registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Protexis] and [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\RNG] to reg file let say "DrDivx.reg"

3) Make an SFX (.exe) archive of c:\window\system32\KGyGaAvL.SYS with this comment

;The comment below contains SFX script commands

Path=%SystemRoot%\system32\
SavePath
Silent=1
Overwrite=1

and name it whatever you want. For this example "KGyGaAvL.exe"

Here the WPI code

prog[pn]=['Dr. DivX™ Encoding Application 1.0.6']
desc[pn]=['Dr. DivX™ is an all-in-one video creation package that lets you create DivX® video from any source right on your computer in just 3 easy steps. Dr. DivX comes bundled with the DivX Pro™ codec - performance video codec in the world - so you can enjoy all its advanced encoding features.']
cmd1[pn]=['%cdrom%\\Software\\DrDivx\\drdivx106.exe /S']
cmd2[pn]=['%cdrom%\\Software\\DrDivx\\KGyGaAvL.exe']
rega[pn]=['%cdrom%\\Software\\DrDivx\\DrDivx.reg']
dflt[pn]=['no']
cat[pn]=['MultiMedia']
ordr[pn]=[341]
pn++

I tested this install on new machine... works

Cheers
