Duke57 Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 This is my first post to your site, so please forgive i f this has been answered before. I did search the forums but did not locate this info....I have a system created by my network admin whereby I perform an unattended install of Win2k or XP using a slipstreamed cd and a floppy containing NoAU.reg, pcbuild.bat, and a winnt.sif file. That worked marvellously until I ordered new pcs without floppies. How can I utilize the same system I had before but instead of the floppy use a usb drive? My new pcs support booting from the usb drive in the BIOS.Thanks for your consideration!Duke57
buletov Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 Did you consider putting winnt.sif into your I386 folder and burning new CD?
Duke57 Posted February 7, 2005 Author Posted February 7, 2005 Did you consider putting winnt.sif into your I386 folder and burning new CD?yes, but since I will use the same disk to build several computers to I didn't think that was the best way to go. What do you think?
