Office language pack

hi all, i use office 2003 and after installing it i install office language pack,,,

is there any way to integrate office with the language pack??

With the Office Resource Kit you can add additional programs to be installed after Office is installed.

Look into the /chained command.

All the switches you want to use (such as /chained, /qb, etc.) and all the MSI properties you want to use (such as TRANSFORMS=filename.MST, PRODKEY=XXXXXX, etc.) are normally specified on the command-line.

I recommend using the setup.ini for the purpose. Go into:

OfficeInstaller\FILES\SETUP\setup.ini

And customize it according to the commented documentation there. You will see more info in setup.htm about available switches.

The advantage of customizing setup.ini, is that it becomes taken as your default install settings. So that the next time you run setup.exe, you need no switches at all! It will become silent by default.
