i downloaded a mac theme, and it changed my logonui.exe and my folder icons. when i deleted that theme and reverted to xp, the folder icons and the c drive icon never changed back. after a system restore, i still cannot restore the original folder icons. When i go to change icon, i can click on the original, but the mac one comes up. can anyone help me on this issue? do i have to download a new icon set, and if so where and where do i install it? thanks

2 options:

a. tweakui can rebuilt your icons cache cleaning it

b. if the above didn't solved the problem, then probably shell32.dll wasn't reverted back. you'll need to manually replace the file with the default one on your xp cd.
