totoymola Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 How can I disable the "Shutdown" button in Windows 2000? Where is it located in the registry?
ravashaak Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 Hmmm. I haven't confirmed this myself, but try the following:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\WinlogonAdd a value named "ShutdownWithoutLogon" (type "REG_SZ") and set it to "0"Reboot. -Ravashaak
totoymola Posted February 2, 2005 Author Posted February 2, 2005 Thanks! I didn't know that. I'm gonna try it.
totoymola Posted February 2, 2005 Author Posted February 2, 2005 It didn't work. What else should I try?
