[Delphi] Outputing from fields to a file

Hey we have just finished TP in college and started Delphi and its easy because of the knowledge of pascal.

but is there a way of outputting the data held within input fields into a certain location in a text field.

Say for instance you have a field which says

Name: [ ]

and what ever is input there will be put into a specific location of a text file:

name="[ ]"
