Mute On/Off Screen notifier malfunction

can anyone help me.My on screen mute on/off notification doesn't work when I press the keyboard button. I have a HP keyboard

I searched the devic e manager and upgraded the intel graphics latest but hasn't solved the problem.

anymore suggestions?

Well normal trouble shooting i think, maybe its is broke mechaically. Test with another keyboard or another pc with the keyboard driver.
