mikku Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 hi friendsi am facing a partition problem and want you all to plz help me outi want to install unattended xp on desired partition everytimelet me explain ui have me on c drive of my hardisk (i want to keep windows me)my d drive is empty (i dont want to install uxp on d)my e drive is having windows 2000 pro ( i dont want to delete or upgrade it to xp)my f drive (it contains my backups and data , so i dont want to install uxp here also)my g ( I want UNATTENDED XP TO BE INSTALLED HERE)CAN U PLZ TELL ME HOW IS IT POSSIBLEi want this to be performed automatically be unattended xp cdi dont want to choose partition manually during installationits should be automatically done by uxpanother thing i want to know is that i dont want uxp to format the partition where uxp is going to be installed. i just want that windows should be installed without formatting that drive and not deleting any data (simply speaking i dont want uxp to format the partition where it is going to be installed )plz help me how to do thisi have searched the msfn forums but wont be able to get any ideas.
prathapml Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Hello mikku,welcome to msfn! You can use the WinPE method.But if you're just beginning out with uA installs, you might find it a waste of time and effort to go to winpe just now.Simply do it manually for now.
