QoS Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 HI all,i am new to scripted installs and making my bootable OS cds so im sorry if this is lame but im having a hard time figuring this out.i have made my winnt.sif and have my winnt.bat file. i understand that win32 needs to run in an nt environment. so that leads me my question, how can i make this custom setup boot? i cant seem to find out a way to get the win32 environment to run this command line on start up: x:\i386\winnt32 /s:c:\i386 /unattend:.\winnt.sif /copysource:langi know how to do it in a dos boot disk and have made those for years but i just cant understand how to modify this boot type.thanks and sorry for lameness of this question.
Alanoll Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/finish.htmcreate a bootable CD, instead of calling Winn32. Then when you input the CD it will start the setup process.Use the CDIMAGE download.
