i have installed Xp on my computer and i had broadband on my old computer but now everytime i go on the internet my computer restarts. i dont know if this is my computer or the service provider but if anyone could tell me id be grateful

You might have got infected with the blaster worm.

Slip-stream SP2 into XP disc and re-install, or install SP2 before turning your modem on.
