January 23, 200521 yr Sounds like your OS is borked, i had this too after a window update quite along time ago.Try using recovery console on the operating system.
January 23, 200521 yr Author i think there is no problem on the os coz i tried using floppy to boot it, but still the problem the same. just freezes. i tried changing the bios setting of that pc, but still the same, i also tried reseting the cmos,but it is still d same.
January 23, 200521 yr Sounds like a hardware error....most likely the video card. No way of telling really....all you can do is disconnect everything except 1 stick of memory, video card and the floppy drive....use the boot disk and see if it still freezes. if so, try another video card, still does it change the RAM around too........I would also look for a BIOS update at you manufacterers web site and update it first......
