Just noticed that a number of files have been created on my pc.

CollectedData_17.xml

21 different numbered files have been created in the directory "C:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\DataColl".

Can anyone tell me what they are and do? I would ideally like to delete the whole PCHEALTH directory but it says files are in use.

the only way to delete that folder is by removing pc restore via system restore remover 1.5

those files have to do with pc health,they are safe and no needing to worry about,they are info about your systems health like fragmentation level/etc...

It just seems strange that it has decided to create these files today. When it has never done so before.

pc restore is like system restore,if you make any changes or install anything it would do that
