missing EULA agreement!

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I have a dvd that is booting 5 versions of W2k3 server (and a few other things :D ). When the blue windows setup screen appears, it runs through normally and then bails out when the EULA statement should appear.

Error: Setup could not find the EULA agreement ect... and cannot continue..blah blah hit `F3`.

Anyone experienced this issue? I searched the older posts, but I am new here so maybe I missed something...

thanks for any help!

is the eula in the i386 folder?

Yeah..

it's EULA.txt right?

It is in the I386 folder for every distrobution. That's why I am dumbfounded :}

back to the drawing board I guess..

check txtsetup.sif and fix your entry for SetupSourcePath

for example a default cd install would be

SetupSourcePath = "\"

not

SetupSourcePath = "\I386\"

I got it! My directories containing the EULA (in the source tree for my image) were more that 8 levels deep and became non-ISO compliant. I got it working now. Thanks..

:unsure: Got a proble and the discription below didn't help me much.

Have two disk 1)XPPRO 2)XPSP1 so called to this discussion.

Problem: Both disk as OEM cannot find EULA. As upgrade they both work find.

findings.

According to your discription above I went into I386\txtsetup.sif and found about 1/8th the way down Eula.exe. Here is what these two disk reported:

XPPRO Eula.exe.......x,2,0,0,,1,2

XPSP1 Eula.exe........x,2,0,0

If this is what you were refering to as the source code ok, I am not sure how to understand or read this code. if I needed to dig farther to correct this problem then let me know. Microsoft had no idea even though they knew I purchased these disk from ther reman center. No warranty on them at all.

Please let me know what I am missing so I may contunue my work.

I do not understand what your refering to as:

SetupSourcePath = "\" I understand it is not per say the exact words I am looking for but a inuendo of said action. What is the exact path and what is it suppose to look like when I get there. Thanks for sharing this with me.
