Astalavista Posted January 19, 2005 Author Posted January 19, 2005 i agree 100% with totoymola, as i said in another post if there is a will there is a way. case and point safe disc ans surerom what was thought to be impossible tocopy is now easily done with alcohol 120 or clonecd or clonedvd.this gives u a level of protection, just a little bit against joe blow.
totoymola Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Dude, please don't take my comment negatively. It is just my personal opinion, and has nothing to do with anyone/anything.I know you always want to have a password protected setup.. That is what I want too. Now, I have an idea on protecting setup in DOS mode, but I can't start this project alone, because I'm not that good. So I need more brains. Would you like to help me? And also, I'm not 100% sure if this will work. And if ever it works, it is still not 100% safe.
Astalavista Posted January 19, 2005 Author Posted January 19, 2005 pare hindi ko dinadamdam ikaw naman noh.this is just to make it a little bit harder.i will be using a new software i found to encrypt folders.cheers
totoymola Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 I found this site. They have lots of tools for protection.http://sac-ftp.externet.hu/security10.html

totoymola Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 I saw that one too. And CDShield also. But I haven't tried them yet. Do they really work? I heard that CopyKill doesn't work on ALL drives.
eldotti Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 yes you are right about that.but it does a good job
Astalavista Posted February 18, 2005 Author Posted February 18, 2005 tested both software.clonecd or clonedvd easily defeats them both. this is only effective against nero and that is it.
