January 16, 200521 yr how do i pin certain things to my start menu?like a folder i have on my desktopand i want to put the recycle bin in the start menu, and not on the desktop, if that's possible.
January 16, 200521 yr CLick and drag the Recycling Bin to your start menu. And if it doesnt move from desktops then delete the one on the desktop
January 21, 200521 yr Unfortunately you can't simply delete the Recycle Bin from the desktop. The easiest way to get rid of it is by using Microsoft's Tweak UI power tool. You can get it here http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/c...wertoySetup.exeThe download is ~147k and gives you access to a lot of 'hidden' features. Once installed, simply start it up and go to the Desktop section and remove the checkmark next to the Recycle Bin. Please note that you must have Windows XP SP1 or later for the above program.
January 21, 200521 yr Use this to remove it from your desktopWindows Registry Editor Version 5.00[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}]
January 21, 200521 yr I moved it to my control panel. Figured if I ever use it I can just go the extra step.
