When we try to boot fromt he XP cd it sits at "Boot From CD:"So we try a floppy boot disk and it says "NTLDR is missing press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart"any ideas? Daem Posted January 11, 2005 Author Share Posted January 11, 2005 He tried formatting in MS DOS and that wouldn't work right I guess, so he slaved it on my computer and reformatted by right clicking and selecting FORMAT.To rule out the hard drive i took a blank HD i have and hooked it up to his computer, set the cmos to boot from floppy, but now its stuck trying to boot from the CD.
