Validation bypass?

Ok guys, help me out here if you will:

I bought a version of Windows Xp in Mexico lately, complete with key code. It works good, but I cant load Xp2. I cant get past the validation process, altho the code was accepted when I installed it. How can I load Sp2, or bypass the validation process? any ideas. thanks

did you buy XP in a shrink wrapped box straight form Microsoft? ie, not off teh street.

You most likely have a "pirated" version of Windows XP, and as such, you won't recieve help. Perhaps you could return it.

Quick check - Go to System Properties and in the middle it should have a PID number.

If it has 64* and you bought it off the street, it's almost definately pirated.
