Ok...I need a little help.

Here is my senerio. (there might be better ways of doing it, but this is what I am trying to make work) ;)

One 2003 Server with Virtual Server installed with an internal IP address of 192.168.1.100 and a public address of 69.93.148.85 (this is actually MSFN) :D . We will call this one MASTER-01

2 Virtual Servers running on MASTER-01. One of them we will call VM-WEB-01 with an IP address of 192.168.1.200 and the second one will be called VM-WEB-02 with an IP address of 192.168.1.201.

I would like to have it so that when people go to www.VM-WEB-01.com or www.VM-WEB-02, the public IP address will still be 69.93.148.85, but MASTER-01 will know where to direct it to and the proper virtual web server will know that they are suppose to respond.

Any ideas on how to do this????

Thanx in advance

Charles

Host headers may be the only way to do what you are looking for. Consult the MS KB article(s) on how-to implement.

It is pretty straight forward.
