chattom
The XP CD I have is the original one (No SP1) - not recognizing drives larger than 137GB. If I create the Universal Windows Slipstreaming and Bootable CD, will this allow me to install XP on a new PC with a drive larger than 137GB? Thanks!! mattofak
Yep, it should providing you have do integrate sp2 into it... just for good measure though you should throw in (if they were provided) the drivers for your hard drives...
^_^
yes, even SP1 integrated will solve this problemI had a friend have this problem with a 160GB drive, and as soon as I slipstreamed SP1 for him, and made a new CD, it all worked properlyHe was so happySo, good luck with your procedure, follow the directions and you'll be a happy camper
