Mekrel
Steam is a wise installer, so does indeed install silently with the /s install switch. However, it still asks for the reboot, how can I stop it from asking this? From searching I am under the impression that Wise installer does not have a switch to prevent this, right? Gagorian
Indeed, I think so too.Yet.. I believe steam needs no registry entries to function so just install it without the games and compress it into an SFX and use it to install it in the future. prathapml
I don't know the switch to prevent that, since I don't use play games online with Steam. But I'd say if nothing else turns up, then you can atleast do a "taskkill" of the dialog-box that comes up, asing for reboot. That way, its all smooth and no interruptions.
Mekrel
The dialog box would have its own process name then?Edit, yes its steaminstall.exeOk, but would I have to use some sort of wait/sleep so that it doesnt kill the install before its meant to be?
