but i want all the folder to be list view

and only my computer to be icon view

i tried regsnap but with not success

Someone posted how to do this the other day... do a search. I'll see if I can help you find it too... Also, you might want to edit your screenshot there... don't want to advertise to everyone you are using an illegal version of XP, now do we?

Have you tried making the changes to the default profile? If you have and it still doesn't work you could always do a RunOnce on the registry key on first logon.

Guys it was a joke... but i removed it anyways. I thought it was funny.

I tried several methods already. but once i install on a different workstation

the settings dont get applied.

For example if i regsnap my pc it will work only on my pc.

if i regsnap for my sony laptop it only works on my laptop.

what to do there must be some universnal hex code
