this is what it should look like:

i edited the sp2 kernel palette directly with a hex editor and changed the bitmap with ResourceHacker. as you can see, only the white is wrong...it's replaced with a dark color (almost black). the white is the 2nd color in the palette.

i saw something about the 2nd color being fixed. is this true?

is there a possible workaround for this?

EDIT: wherever i saw that, it says that the "fixed color" is supposed to be RGB (36,26,21)

using photoshop 7 if it makes a difference

Can someone HELP me?

I am trying to make my Boot Screen look like the one post-92414-1167939616_thumb.jpg, but when Windows is booting up it is showing up as these LAST_SESSION.INI with distorted colors. Which file I need to edit in the Windows XP Pro CD and what do I need to do to correct this problem?
