Cartoonite Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 You will likely have to translate this if you are using a french version of Windows, but this is how I would do it for my (English) version:\$OEM$\$Docs\All Users\...\Quick LaunchI've never seen All Users used for Quick Launch shortcuts, so I can't guarantee that they will work, but I can't see why they wouldn't.J'espère que ceci vous aide. Bonne chance. (I hope french isn't against the rules here, hehe.)
ldk Posted December 18, 2004 Author Posted December 18, 2004 i know that the All Users directory will copy in all [user name] directory...but are u sure that $oem$ is copying before ????i don't the order ...
Cartoonite Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 I'm not sure I understand your question. That folder should get copied across at the same time as everything else in the $OEM$ folder. (During text-mode setup, I believe.)are u sure that $oem$ is copying before ????Copying before what? I'm a little confused here...
Incroyable HULK Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 the $OEM$ folder ALWAYS get copied over from the CD to the Hard drive if you have specified this in you Winnt.sif:[Unattended] OemPreinstall=YesEven if you are not going Unattended and you have the $OEM$ folder parallel to your I386 folder, cmdlines.txt (at the root of $OEM$) will get parsed! (even if the files aren't copied over to the hard drive)
