eriku Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 I Have a Toshiba 2.5 harddrive (40 gig MK4018GAP USB Device) in a USB 2.0 External case (storage box ATN-251). The drive works most of the time but often gives me a delayed write failed error in the middle of reading and writing files.I've checked out the following with no change:http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=330174http://computing.net/cgi-bin/AT-search.cgi...P&sp=sp&x=0&y=0I also updated my chipset drivers tot he latest.I've also tried plugging it into a USB 1.0 and 2.0 slot and still I get these errors all the time.Has anyone else had this issue?I have windows set for no cache on the profile setting.
