FAT64 Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 Is the UserID IUSR_computername?If so ...Click Start>Administrative Tools>Internet Information ServicesExpand the left tree, right-click your WebSite>PropertiesClick on Directory Security, then in "Anonymous access and authentication control" click on EditTick "Allow IIS to control password", then OK and come out of IIS.
tguy Posted December 2, 2004 Posted December 2, 2004 If that doesn't work, you could back up your data, uninstall then reinstall IIS, that should resolve the problem as well.

cancer10 Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 replace the main asp file with your own and it will not ask for password any more.
