How do I password protect.....

I am sorry about the basic question ,but how do I password protect my computer at the start screen.

So that every time to restart from the screen saver I need to type in a password.

i think that you can achive this by going to your display properties on your desktop, select the screen saver tab, and then check password protect ....

I think it is some where in the original administrative screen.

I dont get that any more on boot up.

How do I add useres and then as an administrator protect my user profile.

oh...go in to control panel, select user accounts. At this point you have to choose the user by clicking on the name and then you select create a password...
