Trying to do and Upgrade w/raid integrated

okay, I'm sure this has been answered but I did a search and looked through some threads but no answers.

Basically I've integrated my raid driver for TEXTMODE setup and that works just fine, I can do a clean install and it will work beatifully. But every so often, I need to do an upgrade and would like to have just one CD. Now that I've integrated my raid driver and doing an upgrade It gives me an error saying it can't find my raid driver (iastor.sys). Only happens on an upgrade, and I don't necessarily need this driver to be used when doing an upgrade, but would like to be able to go through and do an upgrade. Is it possible or am I out of luck.
