windows xp media centre edition

trying to back up windows media center edition using the method for xp but PC will not boot from the cd drive.

I have double checked all the nero settings and these seem to be correct i know the drive is ok as it boots from a Xp cd no problems

but all i get is unable to boot from cd/dvd error code 5

I want eventually to create a media center disk with all my programs on as i did without any problems for xp sp1 and sp2

anyone got any ideas

just search for "Error Code 5"
