please do a search for "Error Code 5" as it's been discussed.

The most probable cause is a bad boot sector or incorrectly modified boot sector.

Fix: Start over with the boot sector, and be sure to use CAPITAL letters, and don't delete and then type, but straight overwrite.

i overwrited what was already there.... i would also like to add linux if at all possible as i need a multi-boot disk for many reasons. i would love to add kanotix or Gnoppix to my collection on this dvd... would a dvd-rw be a good thing to invest in for this type of project?
