durex Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Trying to do a silent install of the nforce drivers but the problem is the setup for it doesnt let you choose if you want to reboot or not... it just automatically does it.Anyone found a way to get around this??Thanks!
prathapml Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Don't use the setup! Remove the setup-related files and save some disk-space as well! You need to use the OEMpnpDriversPath method mentioned here:http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/drivers.htm
Metzen Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Trying to do a silent install of the nforce drivers but the problem is the setup for it doesnt let you choose if you want to reboot or not... it just automatically does it.Anyone found a way to get around this??Thanks!setup.exe -k -s-s = must always be last (silent option)-k = no reboot
joeyg2391 Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 my nforce silent is not going through. i have to go through each step. here is my code. let me know if i did anything wrong. Also any progress on itunes 4.7 silent.start /wait %systemdrive%\Install\NFORCE_5.10\Setup.exe -s -f1"%systemdrive%\Install\NFORCE_5.10\setup.iss"
prathapml Posted December 7, 2004 Posted December 7, 2004 Did you read the posts above?2 methods are mentioned - one is to directly use the OEMpnpDrvrsPath method (that way no more setup issues). The other one, is to use the switches that Metzen says.
durex Posted December 8, 2004 Author Posted December 8, 2004 @ MetzenThanks a bunch man.. the oempnpdrivers doesnt work for me so thats much appreciated@joeyhttp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=30941&hl=
mdenapoli Posted December 13, 2004 Posted December 13, 2004 (edited) I tried the "Unattended Setup Guide" method to add nvidia drivers 66.93_win2kxp for windows 2000, and it halts my unattended setup. Setup just hangs. Attached is a copy of my winnt.sif file. Can anyone tell me why it's hanging? NO double posting please!EDIT: your question isn't even related to the nForce drivers.... nForce is not the same as ForceWare! Edited December 13, 2004 by Bâshrat the Sneaky
