Heres the code for you BritishBulldog

;Disable higlighting of new applications in start menu
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
"Start_NotifyNewApps"=dword:00000000

If you need any more registry tweaks take a look at the Sticky in the Unattended Forum

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Highl...G=Google+Search

didn't search that hard... a simple search in google got the results.

and you should watch your mouth... This is a site for support, not to hear how you can't find something. nobody is getting paid here. as for putting more energy into replying.. how can you say that when you didn't even try searching for it on google.

/flame off ;)
