insert cd key in an original bootable Win2003 CD

How can I insert cd key in an original bootable Win2003 CD ? I don't want to be asked for it everytime I install the OS.

How can I do that?

You can use Setupmgr.exe in the Deployment tools, deploy.cab, to create an unattended answer file called WINNT.SIF.

Copy the WINNT.SIF to a floppy disk and use it when you start your server build.

In the [userData] section of the WINNT.SIF add a line that says:

ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx

Replacing the x's with your product key.

ok, i have created the winnt.sif. what should i do next. during the process a part of the i386 folder has been copied from the cd in the destination directory windist

Copy it to a floppy disk, insert the floppy as your CD starts to load:

Setup is inspecting your computer....

You can remove the floppy at the first reboot during the build process.

and what about file unattened.bat and the i386 directory that has been copied on the hdd. should I erase them?
