Anyway to force WinXP to run at 640x480?

Hi,

I have a powerpoint presentation I am giving & using an older projection screen TV to display it. The problem is that at 800x600, its still to hard to see on the screen.

I know the TV is part of the problem, but if I could run XP at 640x480, that would be helpful.

I am using an ATI 9600 Turbo (Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop) video card.

Any help would be great!

Try going into your display properties of your video card & somewhere it should allow you to reduce to 256 colors & then allow you to go to 640x480. hope that helps

Since you have a good graphic card, you can config PowerPoint to activate DirectX Hardware Rendering and to use 640x480 resolution.
