Annorax Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 I'm running Windows 2000 w/SP4 and the latest version of IE.Just yesterday, IE decided randomly not to accept any cookies or temp files. I now must re-log in to everything after the window closes. I go to Internet options and in the General tab under Temp Internet files I hit Settings. It says I am using 0mb for temp files, so I try to increase it. An error message says that the value must be between 1 and 0. I change it to 1, same thing happens. I go to Move Folder and select my regular temp. internet files folder, and it says that there is not enough space there, but my hard drive has several gigs free. I try it on my other hard drive in the machine (also with several gigs free) and get the same error. It won't let me set any space for temp files, so it annoyingly won't store cookies. This only happens on IE and variants of it, like Slimbrowser. Firefox is unaffected. Does anyone know how to fix this?
tguy Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Try reinstalling IE through Control Panel to see if everything registers correctly again.
