perfection
I have understood most of the process of sreating a .sif file for unattended installation of winXP and how and why to place it in the i386 folder etc.Since i have two HDDs with a total of 5 partitions i wish to specify that windowsXP be installed to the C drive and C drive alone rather than let windows decide the default drive of inmstall. How do i do this?In other words i do not want to wait to choose the drive to install to during the setup processPossibleYes, i have read most of the info on this but have not come across an example of the above requestedCould someone help - I am a relative newbie in all this...Thanks
X P
I have a reason to believe that Drive 'C:\' is the default for the installation program. if you already installed and it didn't work, then try modifying the .sif file and reading the 'ref' file for more info on modifying the file. MHz
The Reference file is part of the Deployment tools.cab.Go to Unattended CD Guide to find out more.
