While I don't have the tweak handy right now (I could look at it later if needed), peek at HKCR\.AVI and the associated half (most likely HKCR\avifile)

You could always rename them, then reinstall PowerDVD and let it take over the extensions and back up that... (maybe not the best way, but it would be easy to do)

Personally, I wouldn't let PowerDVD touch my avi's ;)
