hyunkeru Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Hi,I'm wondering is that anyway I can uninstall SP2. I have SP2 slipstreamed with my Windows XP CD. I found that SP2 takes up how much resources on my PIII-650 Laptop. I have no $NtServicePackUninstall$ folder, and it's not in add/remove program. How can I uninstall it or downgrade it back sp1. Re-Installing Windows will be my last option. Thank you very much.
magicfly Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 i suppose that if you have XP with SP2 slipstreamed, you can't uninstall SP2. But you could do that only if you updated from SP1 to the latest service pack.you also can't go back from SP2 to SP1, that's sure!any other confirms that?
