GLO Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 I have enabled the Network and XP creates a "My Network Places" link on the start menu. How can i remove that?
totoymola Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 I think there is a reg-tweak for that. Have you tried visiting kellys-korner-xp.com?
totoymola Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Try this. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]"NoStartMenuNetworkPlaces"=dword:00000001
GLO Posted November 3, 2004 Author Posted November 3, 2004 in the end it was simple....i just had to right click the start menu then properties, and uncheck My Network.Sometimes im just looking too close to see whats happening!
