WINRAR 3.41 sillent with register

Or use my file rename it to .exe and add files from winrar setup file and your registration file.

What was wrong with the /s to silent install, and using the original settings.reg file it creates from Options | Import/Export?

This is the way i've done since before time, yep i'm that old, and never had a problem when called from runonce, as shown below =>

REG ADD %KEY%\030 /VE /D "WinRAR 3.40" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\030 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Apps\winrar\wrar341.exe /s" /f
REG ADD %KEY%\030 /V 2 /D "REGEDIT /S %CDROM%\Apps\winrar\settings.reg" /f

Does the settings.reg contain your registration info? Or, do I need to open my rarkey.rar in the application after the install?

Registration for winrar is not in the registry. So you need your rarkey.rar

Retail version? I bought mine directly from the company via the web.

I asked about automatically registering because I thought that was implied in the thread title.

there is also a corp edition, no need for rarkey.rar

There is no retail version. The retail version would be the setup and the key you got from the author. The corp version isn't really a corp version just to let you know.

it may not be a real corp version but it doesn't needs registration so it's good for me
