fourte3n Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 Is there a way to reduce the installation file of OpenOffice? By reducing i mean taking out parts that I would rather not install?
MCT Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 well, u can remove help files/folder that saves like 20MBbut u can just "dummy" the files u dont need, trial & error is the best way 2 tell
fourte3n Posted October 30, 2004 Author Posted October 30, 2004 cool.... and who would I do that as all the files in the setup.exe are f_03000 and none of these are over 5 meg.
MCT Posted October 30, 2004 Posted October 30, 2004 just install the prog normally & make a 7zip SFX of the programs folder
fourte3n Posted October 31, 2004 Author Posted October 31, 2004 cool.... then what is done about file associations? as normally during install this is taken care of. Im starting to think this is going on the 'to hard' list.
