NickSewell Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 everynow and again my icon cache becomes corrupt and icons get all messed up. i know how to fix this, using tweakui's rebuild icon cache thing but i was wondering if there is a way to run that feature from the command line? so i can create a shortcut or add it to my autoexec file etc.
aresgodofwar Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\desktop\WindowMetrics]"Shell Icon BPP"="16""Shell Icon Size"="32"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]"NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000000i think this may help
tguy Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 I have seen this problem before too.Increasing the font size on the Appearance tab of your Display properties, applying the changes, and then reverting to the old setting and applying the changes fixed the problem for me.
