FuNKeR Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Hi folks,is there a possibility to replace the command prompt of WinXP to a command line utility, that looks a bit better? I saw a screenshot, where the user had a transparent console without borders and stuff click hereThe main question is: Do those programs even exist? cuFuNKeR

jrzycrim Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 I use Console.Console is a Win console window enhancement. It was inspired by eConsole(http://www.informatik.uni-frankfurt.de/~corion), a great console-enhancementprogram (unfortunately, it seems that it's no longer being developed)Console features include configurable font, color, size, background image andtransparency (on Win2000 and later)Console is *not* a shell. It's simply a nice-looking front end for a shellof your choice (cmd.exe, 4NT, ksh, Cygwin bash, etc.)http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/console...ta.zip?downloadSee this thread:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=23165&st=0
