Is it possible to make your unattended XP Pro SP2 CD automatically format all drives and install it on the first one?

This is one of many wishes we all have... Sorry to inform you that Setup only format the destination partition of Windows (C:\WINDOWS) :}

Here are the parameter you can specify in your Winnt.sif:

[Data]
   AutoPartition=1

[Unattended]
   TargetPath=\WINDOWS
   Repartition=No
   ProgramFilesDir="D:\Program Files" (MUST be partitionned & Formated BEFORE installation to use D: drive)
   CommonProgramFilesDir="D:\Program Files\Fichiers communs"  (MUST be partitionned & Formated BEFORE installation to use D: drive)

[GuiUnattended]
   ProfilesDir="E:\Documents and Settings\"  (MUST be partitionned & Formated BEFORE installation to use E: drive)

If you try the search functions you'll find that there is plenty of ways to accomplish this task: WinPE is an example, DiskPart is another.

For my part I created a MultiBoot CD allowing me to start Acronis Disk Director 9 to partition and format my hard drive (Partition Magic was giving me troubles) and then I can restart the computer and start the Unattended installation.
