HELP: Intel Chipset software Installation utility?

Recommended Posts

Hi There, I Just Started To Make my unattended CD ... When I'm in the Driver installation stage (now) ... I Installed some Drivers Perfectly ... Because I've seen the inf files of them But It Looks like a different thing here ... I Extracted the exe file, and in that directory I have Folders that saying they are containing the drivers (example: xxxxx\winxp, winme etc ...) I know it is true Bu there are also setup files, ini files and bin files ... I copied only the xp folder to the my cd, and added to winnt.sif file ...

The Real Problem is, Any Folder doesn't Contain the .inf file in the extracted setup folder ... When take a Look in the XP folder I copied, I only seen .cat (security catalog) files in there ... So I copied them ...

I want to know If the .cat files contains the .inf files, could my installation Find and install the inf file or thats all a failure for an unattended installation ...

How I can unattended Install that drivers ...

PS: I have a Gigabyte GA_8KNXP Board and used the driver from their website ...

the File is here

Someone PLZ Help Me How I can Do With That ...

:(

.Cat files do not contain the .inf files.

You need to use winrar or winzip to extract the files in

that file. Then open a command prompt in the folder you

extracted them to. type infinst_autol.exe -A -A -P C:\intel

C:\intel can be what ever you want. keep pressing next until

the program exits.

And all this info is in the readme file.
