help needed....IPB

hello, i hope that someone can help me, i know knowthing about IPB, and i am trying to create a web site forum for a company ( for my interview), they have said that i can go away and leran how to work it.

i have the download of IPB and PHP, it would be installed on IIS 6

any help would be usful in installing and creating this forum.

also i have to create a secure log in page for people, i know it would use a database.

but how do i do that.

IMHO phpBB is good forum software, I set up a club forum using this and it is really simple and is a well supported community.

I suggest you try looking at several others before committing to one.

phpbb has a log on page and people have to register, I guess for a work environment you can register them yourself and tell them what their username and passwords are...... it is real simple to do.
