ccooper Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 I have made a Multi-boot DVD and it successful works and boots, now that it is complete I was wondering what size info it uses. Since I don’t have a DVD burner and I have to take my HDD over to my brother’s house and use his DVD burner. So I want to make sure that the ISO will fit onto the DVD. When I view the folder that has the ISO in it and view it in Details it says the size is 4,677,420kb. But when I view the properties of the ISO it says that size and the size on disk = 4,789,678,080kb. So I was wondering what size it really uses when it burns the DVD and is there a program that can verify the ISO size and tell me that it will fit onto a DVD.
Alanoll Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 go after the file of the ISO when created and optomized (should make it smaller). That is the size you should concern yourself with.
