cno81 Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 As per the guide on this side it says put the $oem$ folder in the root directory, on the same level as i386, however other places, including the Microsoft guidelines say put this directory inside i386.So, if I follow the Microsoft guidlines I get this message when running the initial winnt setup program;C:\$\$1\installs\office~1\files\common\l&h\speech\1033\tts\tts3000Otherwise if I put the $oem$ directory in the root i.e. C:\XPCD\$OEM$ the files dont get copied across! What's going on ?
Vadikan Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 however other places, including the Microsoft guidelines say put this directory inside i386.These guidelines are normally aimed at the network installations. Since you are uising the CD, you need to follow the MSFN guidelnes and MSFN members' experience. http://tinyurl.com/4z9jx
