About the favourites in IE

Whenever I add a link to my favourite folders, I usually get an icon next to the link. However, after a while, the icon will disappear and a IE icon will appear instead. Why does this happen? Is there a way to prevent IE from deleting the original icon and use the IE icon? thx

Not sure about how you can keep it.

The reason it vanishes though, is down to the TemporaryInternetFiles and cache folder being emptied.

Next time you have one look here and you will see it, clear cache and Temp and it's gone.
