September 16, 200223 yr after Aaron put me onto this ive been looking into it more, it seems people are sick of the telcos dictating what speeds of internet access we can have and where and when we can have it. people are taking the net back!! vive la revolution!if we all take the net back from the telcos like people are doing over here, then the net will be free again, and people like riaa can go @~$% too, and M$ can stop trying to control something that is supposed to be free for all and uncensored as well for that matter.thanks to Djfraz for this link: tin can reciever! how to build a reciever out of a bean tin! heh.and this link is VERY usefull to find if you are close to a node, many people can get on for free, fast lines too, 10mps and faster! Consume.netThink about it, its the way to go, laptops will come into their own then, and pda's, cell phones will always have a connection, and free internet! in car computers will be able to do more.. etc etc.now to buy that wifi card...anyone know of a site with some good wifi scanning software?
